so now that I have a chance to sit down and organize my thoughts, I thought I would go into the "new sin" topic a little more. I hope not to offend anyone, but it happens.

so if you read the article, there are a few new things now deemed sins by the catholic church:
1.Thou shall not pollute the Earth
2. Thou shall beware genetic manipulation.
3. Drug trafficking
4. Social and Economic Justice


....ya. I really dont understand how they can declare "new sins". Where is this going to stop then? If they feel they have divine right to declare new sins, what makes them declaring other things. Thou shall not (insert random quote here) and bam new sin. I really dont think the bible was meant to be amended like the constitution. If the bible is truly as divine to people as they say it is, shouldnt they be a little more defensive when someone goes and changes it. People will say that the change was needed because of the modern times, ok well if we are going to go down, Thou shall not download illeagal music, Thou shall not send spam mail, etc. I am at a total lost to this whole situation. I am not trying to put down the bible or the pope or the catholics, i am just trying understand where peoples faith is anymore. You should have faith in YOUR God, not what they are saying your God is. Have faith in yourself and the people around you. God gave you free will , USE IT!! Dont be lead blindly or think you have to jump through hoops to reach Heaven. If you believe in you're heart that you will reach heaven and see YOUR God, then you will. Dont doubt yourself just because someone said you can't do something, because THEY think it is a sin. I was once led blindly by organized religion and once you break free, you really open up and find out who you are. Have faith, love, laugh and live, but do it for yourself, not what someone says you have to do.

I recently watched a movie called, Into The Wild. I highly recommend it not only for the story but the theme behind the movie. Alot of great quotes in there and here are a few:
